A spill can happen to a meticulous
boater as well as a careless one. The EPA as well as state and
local jurisdictions come down hard on those who try to evade reporting
and responsibility. Your liability for a 10 gallon diesel or
gasoline spill is just as binding on you as it is on the owner of a
100,000 ton leaking supertanker.
Our boats are equipped with petro-absorbant pads for immediate on-scene
mitigation and stabilization for small spills.

Mid size spills may require land delivery of heavier booming and 24 hour
containment during the clean up process.

If it is a big spill we bring in the heavy equipment. Our Haz-wopper specialists have traveled to the Delaware River/Philadelphia
tanker spill during the Winter of 2004, to New York Harbor, Tampa, the
Gulf of Mexico and around the country as part of the Sea Spill
International rapid response team. Sea Spill was on scene at a
mid-Atlantic nuclear power plant to protect their cooling system from
infiltration by spilled oil.

You can run but you can't hide.
There is no sympathy for
anybody who fails to report an accidental spill.
Check your insurance.
Many policies cover you for
non negligent accidental spills.
Call the Coast Guard and Sea Spill at once if you have a
spill.
When you notify the Coast Guard,
let them know that Sea Spill is on the way. They will appreciate the
information that you are serious about dealing with the spill.
