SEA TOW MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

Founded in 1983, Sea Tow continues to set the standards for professionalism, quality and reliability.  Sea Tow's membership benefits include:

Free Towing (better coverage than the competition)

1. Unlimited free home service area towing (to your home port/dock, transient dock).

2. Free dock to dock coverage for your primary vessel within your home area.  (The competition charges for this valuable benefit.)

3. Second Boat Coverage:  With the exception of dock to dock tows, the other boat(s) that you own and are registered to you are also covered for towing too.  (The competition does not offer this valuable benefit.)

4. Home Area Tows:  All members have unlimited assistance towing services on the covered vessel and may be towed by Sea Tow to the dock of their choice within their selected home area at no charge.  There are no distance limitations, dollar ceilings or time limits within your home area.

5. Non Home Area Tows:  All members who require commercial assistance outside of their home area will be towed by the Sea Tow operator serving the area to the dock or area that will most facilitate their boat's repair or transportation.

6. Universal Towing Coverage:  In remote areas, if there is no Sea Tow provider, Sea Tow will arrange and pay for your assistance towing up to $5,000 per incident, with no annual aggregate limits.  You must use a Coast Guard licensed professional tower, pay the bill and submit a copy of the invoice to Sea Tow International for reimbursement.  Unauthorized tows will not be paid.

Covered un-groundings

If you experience a covered soft grounding (surrounded by water on all sides, are not in the surf or inside the surf-line, your boat has enough buoyancy to rock back and forth and your boat can proceed on its own after un-grounding) and one Sea Tow boat can get you free within fifteen minutes you are covered by your Sea Tow Membership.

Fuel drops (not including cost of fuel)  

The trip to bring you the fuel is free, you just pay for the fuel you need.

Dead battery?  Let us try to get you going again.

Prop disentanglements  

Need some help getting your outboard or out-drive cleared?  We will work with you.  If you end up needing a diver there is a fee for the diver.
